The Location of the Ski Massif Chalet

The historic village of Samoëns in France is a comfortable hours drive from Geneva airport and between 7 & 8 hours from Calais. Samoëns is only twenty minutes drive from the Cluses exit (junction 18) on the A40 motorway.

Should you choose to take advantage of a low cost flight into Geneva, we can arrange to collect and take you in our minibus. Please contact us for prices. During your stay we will also take you to and from the piste. We are equipped to be contactable at most times of the day.

The location map from Multimap showing where we are is available from here.

Unlike many ski resorts, Samoëns has respected its architectural heritage and has retained its traditional feel and is the only ski resort to be officially classified as an historic monument. Here there are no concrete jungles but rather traditional chalets built of wood, with roofs made of shingle tiles. In Samoëns the mountains have a lot to offer, both summer and of course winter, thanks to the splendid natural backdrop. Here you will discover holidays that are simply bursting with life. There are numerous restaurants and bars in the village all reasonably priced and offering extensive menus from pizzas to traditional Savoyard menus. The weekly Wednesday market offers visitors and locals alike the opportunity to buy local products.
